We sometimes forget that just because our avatars are atemporal, real life won't come and have its way with us in any way it pleases. There are people in second life -much as life in general- that just float and linger on for years and years, others who use the anonymity second life offers on their own benefit and then there are people like Fabrice Snook, a true visionary and pioneer to many people, myself included.

Founder of the Gay Archipelago, the core of the GLBT/LGBT community in Second Life (a group of gay friendly sims and venues), his efforts to make the gay community a better and enriching experience to many in second life will be remembered for many years to come. His work did not stop at the Gay Archipelago, he started GayworldsNews, where I had the privilege to both work and learn from him.


He had many plans for the future and the fast growing GWN franchise, plans I am sure the managing staff, -myself included- will strive to make a reality eventually. You may be dead Fabrice, but your legacy will live on.

A veces nos olvidamos de que a pesar del hecho de que nuestros avatares son intemporales, la vida pasará ante nosotros y tomará provecho de la manera que mejor le parezca. Algunas personas en el second life simplemente "flotan" durante años, otros usan el anonimato que esta plataforma ofrece para su propio beneficio y luego hay personas como Fabrice Snook, un verdadero visionario y pionero para muchas personas, incluyéndome.
