MORPH me

There have been a lot of heated debates on several social platforms when it comes to the rapid spread of what is known as Morph pictures, for those of you unfamiliar with the concept, a MORPH picture is simply the combination of real photo elements - usually the entire body - with the face of a virtual avatar.

There are a lot of people that simply love doing this and are very proud of the results, while others simply hate the idea and get into heated arguments over why is it not only ugly but unnatural and wrong, but needless to say, this is second life... the land where everything is possible, and valid.

So out of curiosity I decided to indulge in the art of MORPHing - see picture above - and see what was out there that would portray the clear idea of where I stand on the topic, I don't mind morphing, as long as it's done right. When thinking about choices on MORPH artists in second life, one name immediately popped to mind and that would be Medy Spore.

Medy has been a family friend for as long as I can remember and has shyly but surely made his way into the

SL erotica by mastering what I would define as the right combination of Morphing; he knows how to work it and how to make it look good, he knows his way around models and actually takes the time to get to know you as to be sure what would best portray you in his art, and even though the picture -to the right- of my youngest son is not something one would go and brag about as a parent, I have to admit that even then, he mastered morphing.

Define this as porn, art or whichever you like, but like most things in life, is not the "trend" or "movement" that is horrible, but the people behind it that make it look bad. When you put the right amount of care and dedication into anything, even something with many detractors as MORPHing can look as spectacular as these two pictures.
