I LOVE DICK!

I was going through my facebook newsfeed and I saw this pic which got my mind going over this very topic. Dick, whether it’s short for someone named Richard or just referring to that joy-bringing piece of male genitalia, as gay men we all have loved or love a Dick, or two.

But as a teenager, while you are struggling with your own sexual identity, loving a Dick is not always a cause for celebration, specially when yours has a mind and will of its own. I personally never cared if I got an erection during gym showers, some people made too big of a deal about it, but to be frank back in my days, I was not the only one on those communal showers with a throbbing member or at least a semi; I mean you are in your teens, full of hormones in a room packed with naked guys, even if you were straight, the whole situation was sex inducing -actually, while in your teens, everything was pretty much sex inducing-

So during our lives as men, putting aside where our sexual preferences lie, I am left wondering if the statement “I love Dick” doesn’t apply to all men out there. If you are straight and disagreeing with me, look between your legs, think of the amount of time, attention and care you put on it and admit it, you love Dick… what differentiates us gay men from you guys is the fact that we not only love our very own, but pretty much everyone else’s.
