JESUS DIN'T SAY IT, AND I DARE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG
I am not a religious person, in fact I am what you could define as the least religious one you can find out there, but I have always been fascinated by the historical figure that was Jesus and who single-handedly managed to change society and faith, during one of the most turbulent times in history.
What would he say if he was still around and saw what has been done to all he preached about love and tolerance or was exposed to the sad realization that both his figure and ideas are used as both an excuse and a blunt weapon of hate to attack minorities? How his words have been twisted under the excuse that what “Christians” preach is inspired by him, God and the Holy Spirit?
How many more preachers and the so called “righteous” do we have to put up with for society to realize that Jesus and Christianity are both being used and manipulated? How many homosexuals have to be born, hated, bullied and struggle with equality before the world realize it is NOT a choice but simply who you are?
NOT ONCE, Jesus ever uttered words of hate against same sex couples or in fact words of hate against anyone; what I did read when studying the scriptures -again I am not religious, but I do like a good book and the Bible has some good chapters that I found entertaining- was of a person who preached loved and tolerance. So here’s a challenge for all haters, retrogrades, hate mongers, narrow minded out there using Jesus -and wrongly that is-, look up Jesus words, read them carefully… if you find ONE single passage where he says that loving a person, no matter their gender is wrong and a sin, I’ll publish a public apology; but since he didn’t, re-reading what HE DID preach might do you good.
